[Koha] Variety of questions about Koha installation

Stefan,
Thanks for your response. However, the problem is that I have tried deleting the sample libraries and patrons in the admin interface (libraries and groups). I delete one, it says "library deleted", but then the library is still listed! And it still appears in the login drop down box, etc. and its patrons are still linked to my patrons. So, they are not actually being deleted. I have also tried deleting all of the information from each of the library profiles first, but that does not delete the libraries either.
Any more advice?
Thanks!
Amy

While you installed Koha via the Webinterface you chose to install
"sample libraries and patrons." Thats why. You can get rid of them one
by one by the admin interface.
Question 2 is answered by solution 1.
When you catalogue a journal, I think, you can tell which issues are
available.
Backup at least the MARC by a cron.
Try using bulkimport instead. Me too, I experienced some problems by the
web interface.
Kind regards, Stefan
