Joe,

That is could if you have one of more, let say bad records with
"sense" in a field other than title.

You can check you parser setting this way, run command:

misc/sax_parser_print.pl

It should say something like:
[XML::LibXML::SAX::Parser]

and not this:
[XML::SAX::PurePerl]
