[Koha] Database Upgrade Problem

I once upgraded Koha 2.2.9 to 3.01 and had similar problems. I solved it by turning off the Hide Lost Item System preferences.

It seems as if somehow during the upgrade koha now assumes all the items are lost. But once you say the system should not hide lost items, my searches produced results.
