[Koha] Howto add item Shelf Location

Greetings,

I've freshly installed koha 3.0.1-stable on Debian Lenny 5.0.

I would like to know how to select the shelf location when editing the
item details. The drop down list has no items.

Do i have to enter something in the marc editor?
