[Koha] Problem Checking out with SIP using telnet

Dear List,

                  Iam having problems checking out books using SIP2 with
telnet.i am using koha 3.0.i am not sure if i have given the patron
identifier correctly the message which i gave is as follows

root at boss[SIP]#telnet 192.168.38.208 8023

here the ' 1888 ' is the card number which i have given to the parton,is it
correct or do i have to give something else.thanks in advance for your help.
