AFAIK, currently you cant, without some hacking

Sorry, im not an LDAP expert, im an LDAP newbie
The *only* time i've used LDAP was to set up a koha 3 months ago.

i dont understand what a "privileged" ldap user really is ;)
or what "privileged user credentials" are

so i may not be the person to give you the expect info you need.

from memory, i used the Auth_with_ldap.pm from HEAD
