[Koha] Control Number

Dear all
We are currently implementing KOHA and MARC 21 at BRAC University Library
in Bangladesh. Normally other ILS automatically generate a control number
(001) for each item.

But we are not sure whether KOHA does it or not and if it does then how?

We will really appreciate your help.
