[Koha] Test Catalogue module v2.2.9

We have heard of Koha and have attempted to install version 2.2.9 ...and
have had no  experience using a LMS. This is our first attempt to test
an open source .

 

 We have attempted to enter a catalogue record into the  prescribed Marc
Record however some of the marc fields  are not necessary  for use and
we did skip those fields...when we tried at add the record it did not
accept.

? 

What options do I choose to delete the marc fields that that are not
relevant....please help.
