[Koha] Emailing from the book bag

Our system isn't sending emails from the book bag.  The errors in the 
log are:

Am I right in guessing this isn't a problem with Koha, but some other 
configuration on the server?

It's a Debian Sarge system and Koha 2.2.5.  Exim4 is running and I get 
logs emailed from the server.  Any ideas what could be wrong?
