[Koha] Marc Templates in 3.0

Our school district currently has two buildings using Koha.  Over the summer we will be adding at least three more buildings that will be using Koha.

One thing that has come up in our discussions is  that in the current system they are able to add a vendors name and a funding source in the copy or item record area.  I know I can enter the source of acquisition or the vendor in Marc tag 037, but is there a tag that I can add the funding source too?  Will I still be able to add it to a template if it's not currently in the templates in 3.0?  Is this something that could be added to the item record area or is that hard coded and can't be changed?

An help would be appreciated. Many questions are arising and I want to be able to give the right information to the librarians without scaring them too much or giving them extra work.
