I have filed a bug for this
(http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2235) and
created a patch that will fix this problem for subsequent updates.
Once the patch is accepted, you should upgrade to the development
version or wait for the upcoming release candidate.  The existing
Hindi records in your database will not be automatically fixed by this
patch - if you don't have too many of them yet, you should delete them
in your test database and load them again.
