I've recently added an advanced notice feature in Koha 3. It will be
in the final 3.0 release. You'll have to turn on the
EnhancedMessagingPreferences syspref and start running the
misc/cronjobs/advance_notices.pl cronjob.

I think this may help you get what you're looking for.
