[Koha] failed to load Net::Z3950::ZOOM on ubuntu 'no.such.host'
exists error

I'm trying to get Koha 2.2.9 running on Ubuntu server 7.10. When I try and get
the ZOOM package in perl

make test had returned bad status, won't install without force
How do I fix this? From looking around it seems that there might be something
wrong with my version of YAZ, but I don't know what. Or can I (and how do I)
force the installation? Or would that break things further down the line?
