[Koha] Koha Digest, Vol 38, Issue 38 koha search option

Hi! I installed koha in Fedora 9 and I have sent the installation steps
to the list two weeks ago.
 
Now, I have the same problem that Sunita Barve, and I tested a solution
posted in another message:

	in console, I go to the path:   cd /path/to/koha/lib 
	and I run the command:    perl
../bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra.pl -b -a -reset
	all succesfull! my new elements appear in koha opac

but the problem is that, the librarian (not I) can't do this manually
every time he needs add new elements (MARC records). This process must
be automatically, or with a 'koha intranet web-option', it's posible??

	Congratulations for installing KOHA on fedora. pl send me the
installation steps.

	Probably you need to rebuild zebra to enable search in OPAC for
newly added items.

	for changing default currency from $ to Rs. I think you need to
modify few records in currency table in mysql.

		I have installed koha on Fedora Core 7 OS. Can anyone
help me to answer to
		the following questions.
		
		1. I have added few records from z39.50 service in my
database and have
		saved them. I have got record number 2 as well. But when
I try to search the
		database I dont see any records in OPAC. How to make
this in working.
		
		2. When we add vendors in koha it selects only one
currency for the vendor
		and its bydefault is $. Can we change this to Rs. or
some other value.
		
		3. Is there an extensive documentation available for
koha. I am trying to
		find such documentation but I saw zip files and they are
not very extensive.
		
		4. How to set branch library. It asks only new library.
I didnt find any
		branch library option.
