[Koha] Overdue Report

We have suppressed access to circ/overdue.pl in Production, but have  
it available on our Test installation.  After playing with it some  
today, as test was mirrored from production last night and the data is  
fresh and accurate...I came up with some questions.

Question 1:
Should the report and filtering options (by library, by item type, by  
patron category) work the same on both servers?

Question 2:
If I'm reading Bug 2478 correctly - does this report even work at  
all??  We are able to successfully filter by library, but not by item  
type.

Is work being done on overdue.pl for 3.2?

The need we had was for one of our libraries to run a report to see  
which of their patrons had overdue DVDs.  Simple, easy, or impossible?
