[Koha] Problem installing ZOOM module

Hi,

I'm installing koha 2.2.9 on debian 4.0(etch). 
I've only come across guidelines for 2.2.6 and 2.2.7 online:

I've followed the steps and have gotten up to the installation of Koha but the installation won't proceed since ZOOM is missing.

I've tried installing ZOOM several times but I keep getting error messages such as:

impossible to install 
make test had returned bad status

I tried the installation using both :
install ZOOM and force install ZOOM 

I even tried downloading the package from more than one website and followed the installation directions but still no luck.

Grateful  for any suggestions.
