[Koha] changing the config.log file for the Yaz toolkit install

i am having trouble with installing the yaz toolkit and i am prompted with this error

configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.

or 

configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

what should i do next?
what changes should be made to this file?
