[Koha] installer database error

Hi,

I'm installing Koha on CentOS 4.3. I've installed mysql-4.1.12-3 and all 
required Perl mods. But it gives me the error:

ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'kohaadmin'@'localhost' 
(using password: YES)

DBI connect('Koha:localhost','kohaadmin',...) failed: Access denied for 
user 'kohaadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at 
/usr/local/koha/intranet/modules/C4/Context.pm line 411
Can't call method "prepare" on an undefined value at 
scripts/updater/updatedatabase line 1553.
Problem updating database...

I've searched the list archives and seen this error in relation to 
MySQL5, so doesn't seem applicable in my case.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
