[Koha] Edit Items strangeness

A suggestion for those interested: Until a fix is published for this issue,
you can use the "Web Developer" Firefox add-on to make the field editable.
This is a little clumsy, but it should work.

In the 'edit items' page (additem.pl)
I'm attempting to add and item but the field 'p - Barcode*' is grey'd 
out and I can not enter any information and it's a required field.

Is this a 'feature' in 2.2.8 ? ;)
