[Koha] Batch item editing

I am exploring Koha and we batch load our holdings into a generic location. 
Then we need to batch edit the items to the appropriate collection/location
etc.  Is this available in Koha?  

or is there a batch modification option that if I scan the barcodes it would
change their settings based on a default I set during that session?
