Did you leave the ranking on the list as zero?  If so, that server will not be 
searched.  Did you restart the z3950 daemon after you added new servers?  
This step may not be necessary, but it doesn't hurt to do it.  These two 
servers z3950.loc.gov and z3950.nls.uk both work; do a search for something 
common like "Harry Potter".  Can your koha box actually "see" the z3950 
server? There might be a firewall issue.  Try pinging the z3950 box from your 
koha box.
