[Koha] Is it possible to run KOHA on a stand-alone computer

I have installed KOHA, MYSQL, APACHE in the C drive of my computer.  But to run KOHA I was instructed to go to a web host.  I would like to see if I can run it on just my computer before venturing to recruite some IT person to do it on the web server.  thanks.
