[Koha] new install: z3950 client not connecting to servers

Hi, Christopher,

In answer to your question about connecting "manually" to the Library of Congress catalogues: yes, you can. In some ways, it is even preferable to go on a record by record basis, as one can evaluate different choices in record available that may occur.

BTW, the MARC record, when saved is a long alphanumeric string, beginning with a long set of mostly numbers. Do not be alarmed by this. It is normal.

If you are still having problems with the Z39.50 parameters and you are certain it isn't Koha-related, you might want to check through the specs at URL <http://www.loc.gov/z3950/lcserver.html>
