Wow, this is great news. Adam and Strategic Data do good work, I'm sure
you'll be very happy with them.

There certainly are ways you can help. Let me give a bit of perspective,
and then an answer.

Right now, the current stable release of Koha (the 1.2 series) is nearing
the end of it's development cycle. There will be one more release, but it
will be for bug-fixes only. The 2.0 series is getting very close to an
initial release (the final alpha release, 1.9.2, should be released this
week), so new development is on hold there as well.

Once 2.0.0 has been released, we'll start working on new development
again. Minor enhancements might occur in the 2.0 series, major new
features will show up in the 2.2 (or later) series. For example,
authority records (thesauri) work is likely to happen in 2.0, while
serials will be happening in 2.2.

So, how can you help? Well, there are several things you can do:

 1) If you have suficient skills on staff, you could join the development
effort yourself and contribute the code.

 2) You could also hire someone (Stragegic Data) to do the work for you.

 3) The least certain route would be to lobby other developers to work on
things gratis. In this case, you would still be making contributions, but
they would be of a cheerleading and/or advisory nature.

Whichever of these routes you take, I'd recommend that you stay active on
this mailing list, and (if you're interested in helping guide the future
direction of Koha) join the koha2010 list. There is a great deal of
information about the various Koha mailing lists available at
http://koha.org/mailing/

thanks and good luck,
-pate
