Nice to meet you. I'm the librarian at Horowhenua Library Trust, the 
first library to use Koha. And yes, we run it on a Linux platform.

Linux is getting better known with every passing week here in NZ, 
but it is true that we have had many instances of people who would 
have liked to run Koha, but whose knowledge of Linux was not up to 
the task, and who were afraid to get out of the Microsoft bed. Or 
their IT support person was unwilling to upskill. Or whatever!
