Well, our small resource center uses the lists to do inventory (so I
understand, I'm just the computer guy who is learning a whole new world of
library management. :-)). If I understand right, they take the accession
lists (which our librarian also refers to as "shelf lists"), and use those
once or twice a year to do a thorough reorganization to make sure everything
is in the right place. Is this the kind of thing the existing reporting might
be able to do?

That's true. It certainly makes Koha even more attractive then proprietary
solutions since it should be possible to do just about anything with a little
Perl scripting. :-) We just reviewed a library program, and besides it
putting us over budget, I was also a bit uncomfortable being tied to one
vendor's file format.

Hmm... that sounds like I might have had good timing then. When the software
is done, will it be platform specific I assume? Might I ask if this is true,
what platform you are having Katipo develop it for?
Re: additional features, I will talk with our librarian and see what our
exact requirements are and get in touch with Katipo.

  Thanks for your help!
