Hey everybody, We are migrating to Koha from Winnebago Spectrum and are having issues with the 852 to 952 tag conversions. Does anybody have a script that will build a proper Koha 952 tag out of Spectrum based MARCs? Thanks! Chris Morrison Bertha Smith Library Lithonia, GA
I think a lot of people use MarcEdit for this type of thing - here is a doc on swapping fields in MarcEdit: https://sites.google.com/a/liblime.com/koha-manual/Home/Table-of-Contents/Ap... --- Nicole C. Hi Chris! Good luck with your migration and when you are officially on Koha, don't forget to add your library to libwebcats (Marshall Breeding's research site): http://www.librarytechnology.org/libwebcats/index.pl?SID=2009050191888427&code=lwc This is the best tool we have at the moment to track Koha users worldwide and helps researchers like Marshall report accurately on Koha usage. Thanks and all the best, Tina On Thu, Apr 30, 2009 at 2:49 PM, Nicole Engard <nicole.engard@liblime.com>wrote:

I would also encourage people to add to the Koha Users page on the koha wiki http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=kohausers Chris

Can we actually get the data out of that to put on the new Koha website when it launches? Otherwise, I think http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=kohausers is the best tool. Thanks, -- MJ Ray (slef). I've asked Marshall about options for harvesting lib-web-cats data. I agree that we should have our own list of Koha users, either on the wiki or the new website, but since lib-web-cats is one of the few external directories of libraries and their automation systems, I encourage all Koha users to register their usage of Koha on lib-web-cats as well as on koha.org.
