New koha service for German public libraries
Hi, my name is Norbert Weinberger and I'm the Managing director of the new founded company LMSCloud GmbH in Munich. We will provide Koha Hosting and Support services for Public Libraries in the German speaking countries.Therefore our website currently only is available in German - sorry for that. We hope that we can contrinbute a lot to the community and looking forward meet with colleagues at the KohaCon in Thessaloniki. A good start may be to release the Onleihe integration for Koha that is advertised on your website. To me it sounds like you provide a hosted closed source fork of Koha, which is rather anti-community. Hi Mirko, We've talked already to Katrin from BSZ on what the best way would be to bring in our enhancements to the community version. We want to follow the community process for these enhancements, which is to specify them first on the wiki. This will include the German Onleihe as well. As we've started the company just a few weeks ago, it will take a while to get everthing done that is on our list, so your help is very welcome. Hope that there is a chance in Thessaloniki to chat about that or just give me a call ! Cheers, Norbert

Hi, a month ago I've send the email below to the mailing list to get listed as a company for paid koha support on the community website. Unfortunatley nothing happend up till today. Is there anything I need to do or missed to get that entry on the website ? We have also a first demo for the OPAC available, which is based on MARC21 and is accessable under https://wallenheim.lmscloud.net/ Is it possible to get a reference for that on the website on the demo page ? Given that it is a fork with lots of things people won't find in Koha, I don't see how it is supposed to be a representative demonstration of the Koha Integrated Library System. Sorry, had to say it. -- Mirko
