SQL query to enable all patrons messaging preferences
Dear Friends, I would like to enable all SMS and Email messaging preferences (Check-in, check-out etc) of all patrons. Kindly help me to create an SQL query to do the process. Hi Vimal, There is a script provided in Koha to do this, on the packages it will be at /usr/share/koha/bin/maintenance/borrowers-force-messaging-defaults To use it, set the defaults for each category within the Patron categories editor in the Koha administration, then use this script to apply those defaults to all borrowers. Be aware that if you have borrowers that have personally set these settings already, using the tool to force defaults will override their preferences. This can lead to angry borrowers.
