For anyone who might have been following this thread, Paul and I got together in a screen-sharing session for the following resolution: ISSUE 1: Slow performance DIAGNOSIS 1: Plack not running; enable Plack (credit M. Kuhn) ISSUE 2: Plack cannot be enabled DIAGNOSIS 2: Plack directives (Include statements) missing from OPAC and Intranet sections of Apache config (/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/{instancename}.conf) RESOLUTION: Manually insert Include statements in each section; restart Apache P.S. If I'm not mistaken, the Plack directives are normally included with the default Apache config file – but commented out, disabling Plack.
