Can't delete fresh created biblio. DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Duplicate entry
Dear colleagues, I have problem on one of koha instance Version 22.05.09.000. If I try to delete some biblio, fresh created too, I get this error: An error has occurred! Error 500 From: /var/log/koha/koha/plack-error.log {UNKNOWN}: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::db do failed: Duplicate entry '61703-marcxml-MARC21' for key 'deletedbiblio_metadata_uniq_key' at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Biblio.pm line 2867 At the same time biblio landed in to the table deletedbiblio. After deleting of record from deletedbiblio and trying to delete the record again, it works. Maybe have somebody idea about the error? Mit besten Grüßen IT-Manager Eugen Bastron
Hi, Seems you have duplicated records and need to fix them. You can check that out in: Go to koha-about/system information. If that is the case, you will find there instructions on how to fix the issue as well as the duplicated record numbers.. Hello Alvoro, before deletion I don’t have any problems in koha-about/system. After I’m trying to delete the record I get an error in koha-about/system. But if I delete the record from deletedbiblio I can delete the biblio over Web without any problem. I think the error is if I try to delete the biblio, koha put the biblionumber into deletedbiblio than check deletedbiblio and give me error. I can’t understand, why I can normally delete the record second time after I delete the biblio from deletedbiblio . Maybe is it some Indexing problem? Any other ideas? Dear colleagues, the problem was that I had some old data in deletedbiblio_metadata. I think I forgot to clear the table after some test imports. Thanks Katrin for the tip. Another question. Is it ok for KOHA to empty all deleted_TABLES ? Hi Eugen, it should not create any errors or problems to delete these tables.
