Hallo all, Second question is I am just importing some books from SRU server after connecting our university's Koha library to the main country's library in Germany which is K10plus. The main point is that Koha is not reading the barcode of the books from the MARC data that comes out in not creating book copies (we have from every book more than one copy with different signature, already in the MARC data). Thank you Best regards -- Sent from: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-general-f3047918.html
The barcode information may not be in the right fields in the imported MARC record. https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Holdings_data_fields_(9xx) Elaine Bradtke VWML English Folk Dance and Song Society | http://www.efdss.org Cecil Sharp House, 2 Regent's Park Road, London NW1 7AY Tel +44 (0) 20 7485 2206 (This number is for the English Folk Dance and Song Society in London, England. Hi, K10plus is a union catalog with many participating libraries in Germany. Usually holdings information is not included in the MARC records exported via SRU/Z39.50. In some cases holding information is transported in a custom MARC field 924 for ILL/Discovery, but this might be incomplete. As Koha expects 952 for item information, you'd need to reformat it in order to create items in Koha. Also, I think the SRU/Z39.50 download in Koha can only create authority and bibliographic records, but not items. In order to create items, you'd have to import the edited MARC files via staged tools. Alternatively you could maybe use the MARC modification templates on import to shift the data into the right fields. Hope that helps, Katrin On 18.11.19 20:58, Elaine Bradtke wrote:
