Hi all, I've searched through the posts here but just can't find the answer (especially for my Koha version). I need to delete the collections that are present in the out-of-the-box version and add collections for Reference, General and Reports. Could someone point me in the right direction here? Collection codes live in the 'Authorised Values' section, under 'CCODE'. Robin.
Robin, Thanks for your reply. I go to Authorised Values but there is nothing there for CCODE. I have seen the post that said to add it if it is not there – but that messes with my database frame of mind – how do you also then delete CCODE values – surely there must be something there if there is already data present for CCODE? Hmm, perhaps we are talking about different things there. You shouldn't get any default collection codes if the CCODE authorised value is empty/non existent. Where are you seeing the codes? Maybe they're coming from somewhere else. It's not item types, perhaps, is it? Robin.
Robin, I’ve got that problem sorted – what the user was wanting was the sublocation or collection (holding branch) – which is the same table/list as the libraries. I’ll have a few more questions soon thought!
