There are a couple system preferences that you should check. Under cataloging preferences: UseControlNumber should be set to Use. EasyAnalyticalRecords - we have this set to Don't Display (there was a bug that cause some confusing display issues, I think they're still working on it) I think that should help.

we created individual catalogue records for each article and tried to link them with the host/parent record by using 773 fields with subfields title, relationship information, host record control number in the child record. But while searching in the OPAC for the child, i am unable to reach the parent record. The parent record is showing only as a source, but not getting the link to reach the parent record. In your OPAC you are able to provide a link to parent Tocher. ie, while searching for 'Proverb from north uist', it is taking us to the parent record Tocher. *There it is showing a link as 'in Tocher". *Please help me to reach up to this point.

You can see what they look like here: http://catalogue.efdss.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=tocher
Tocher is the name of the journal, and the articles are listed after that. Elaine

I am entering the data of our Serials in Koha. I have some doubts.pls educate me regarding those as in following:- 1) If a entered USI Journal (Quarterly). then how can I do the article indexing of USI Journal in koha. ex. if Jan-April has 7 articles then where should I entered the title of these 7 articles in Koha.
2) If my user is searching for specific article then OPAC should show the Name of Journal, Issue and article title.

One more thing to check Home>Administration>MARC frameworks>Default framework structure>Tag 773 Subfield structure Subfielde W advanced constraints. it should say Link: Control-number Your MARC records look as if the link should work once Koha knows it's there. You may have to rebuild the indexes. We're running 3.18.04, but the links have beenworking for a couple years now, older versions of Koha do support it..
