Hi David Which source are you using for your jackets? OpenLibrary? Amazon? Google? Chris
Hey Chris! I will use anything but right now I have Amazon as the source. Is one easier than the other? -----Original Message----- From: Chris Cormack [mailto:chris@bigballofwax.co.nz] Sent: Tuesday, August 16, 2011 4:13 PM To: Hartman, David W. - GBTS Library Cc: Koha Subject: Re: [Koha] Book jackets on your search results 2011/8/16 Hartman, David W. - GBTS Library <David.W.Hartman@disney.com>

You have to have an account with Amazon, give google a whirl Chris
Does anyone on the list feel they get better results with Google rather than Amazon? Should do, did you plug that into the system preference? Chris _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list http://koha-community.org Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha
In our previous system we used Syndetics. When we migrated to Koha we trialed Amazon, Google and Syndetics during our installation period. We found that Amazon provided the same number of cover images as Syndetics, but for free - in fact it was hit for hit. Google had a lower number of hits. The only thing I have noticed is that sometimes the Amazon images are the American cover art, rather than the Australian/NZ edition cover art though the ISBN is the same. As a result of our trials we have gone with Amazon images. Okay, good to know ! Actually my question was more about the results provided by OpenLibrary, how good they are as compared to those of Google and Amazon... Best wishes, Sébastien.
