Searching Authority Records by Authority Record Number
Hello, all! Is it possible to search authority records by an authority record number? I have to edit a few authority records. The main entry (100) is in kanji, but each has a Romanized transcription. Koha has graciously created the authority record but only for the kanji version. I have to add the Romanized version. I have the record number and I haven't successfully figured out from the documentation or an internet search how to do so. Thanks to everyone's help. P. S. I haven't yet set up the Linux box to search by kanji. That, I know I have to do, but at least Koha accepts kanji input. -- -- Charles. Search for authorities on any term. For any authority in the results list, choose action 'edit'. On the editor page, in the URL, change the authority number (authid) to that of the record you wish to edit. Refresh the page. Hi! We're on 18.11, but if I just put an aut record number into the search box with "Default," "contains" selected, my Koha returns just the aut record with that aut record number. (It does the same thing if I use the LCCN from the 010 field.) Interestingly enough, it works also in the Authority Search in the OPAC. Hope this is helpful!
