Server biblios z39.50 show record with see from autrority
Helo, server z39.50 (biblios) strangely works, when downloading record also shows me information from the "see form" authority with ind1 = z. I have set IncludeSeeFromInSearches to ON but I thought it works only in search OPAC and STAFF. It is bug or I have a wrong config (public server z39.50)? Koha ver. 16.0503000 Thanks a lot Regards Kamil -- Sent from: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-general-f3047918.html

I don't understand what you are saying about Z39.50. In the manual system preference "IncludeSeeFromInSearches" is explained as follows (nothing about Z39.50...): "When this preference is set to include the search engine indexer will insert see from headings from authority records into bibliographic records when indexing, so that a search on an obsolete term will turn up relevant records. For example when you search for cookery (the old term) you get titles with the heading of cooking (the new term)." However, the functionality of system preference "IncludeSeeFromInSearches" is broken in your Koha version (16.05). See https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=19122 The problem is solved in Koha 17.05.05 or higher. Hi Michael, thanks you for answer. I think similar that the IncludeSeeFromInSearches setting has nothing to z39.50. I don't know exactly what data this is? * Does it look like this in your own catalog? * Does it look like this when you are downloading from your OWN Z39Target? * Does it look like this when you download from an external Z39Target?

No. I imagine the Z39Target where you are downloading from is actually delivering these fields? What Z39Target is it exactly that you are downloading from? Helo Michael and Katrin, I started at KOHA server z39.50. And from this server (own) I download the record by the protocol z39.50. I noticed when the record is related to the authority which form old term - "see from" (in downloaded record via z39.50) contains data from "old term" with the first indicator = z. Authority record: =LDR 00804cz a2200217n 4500 =001 1087296 =003 LIB =005 20160910184902.0 =008 970731n||a|\nnaabn\\\\\\\\\\|a\aaa\\\\|c =010 \\$an 97081941 =040 \\$aLIB =100 0\$aAntonio Rosmini Serbatid(1797-1855). =400 1\$aRosmini, Antonio. =400 1\$aSerbati, Antonio Rosmini. =400 1\$aRosmini Serbati, Antonio. =670 \\$aKp. Ontologia e morale in Antonio Rosmini / Roberto Nebuloni. - Milano, 1994. =670 \\$aEI. =942 \\$aPERSO_NAME In this case data from authority (field 400) is in bibliographic record in field 100. Like says Katrin if on includeSeeFromInSearches - then "see from" is index with data bibliographic record. Michael I tested on local machines Koha. Update to 18.05.04 and it's the same. Maybe is some ways to hidden this field in config server z39.50? Thanks Michael and Katrin. Regards Kamil -- Sent from: http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Koha-general-f3047918.html
Hi Kamil, you are right, those stem from turning on the includeSeeFromInSearches system preference: =100 z\$aRosmini, Antonio. =100 z\$aSerbati, Antonio Rosmini. =100 z\$aRosmini Serbati, Antonio. The "see from" from the linked authorities are merged into the bibliographic records for indexing. I know Koha hides them from display using the first indicator = z, but I am not sure if Z39.50 can be configured to hide them as well. Katrin On 16.10.2018 18:35, kamil wrote:
