Hi Frank, Koha follows the MARC 21 format guidelines. Field 490 is for recording the name and volume of the series without normalization. If the first flag is 1, field 830 (Series Added Entry-Uniform Title) is expected to have data. For that reason it appears empty. This can be changed from the XSLT template. One of our librarians has brought to our attention that when they set the 490 field with indicator 1 as "1#$aFormosa$v1" in a record, it does not display in the bibliographic detail page as expected. For example, the series title "Formosa;1" does not appear in the expected location:

However, when the indicator 1 is set to "0," they can see "Formosa;1" displayed in the correct position.

Could we be misunderstanding the meaning of "0 - Series not traced"?
