Hello, I just want to confirm that when using the cart feature in Koha v. 3.03.00.004 (we just upgraded today), it is NOT possible to e-mail the contents of the cart unless one is logged in? The email feature did not work for 3.02 either. Is this intentional, or a bug? I did not see any login caveats in the 3.2 documentation for the cart feature. I have disabled the login feature since I am sure it would annoy my users to have to login every time they search the catalog. Thanks, Amy Schuler

This is true, you must be logged in to the OPAC to be able to email a cart. This was done to fix this bug: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=3651 ...because it was possible to use the system to send spam. There is an opposing bug asking that this be changed back: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=4274 I too would like to see work done to make it possible for non logged-in users to email their cart.

Why would your users have to log in every time they search the catalog? Logging in is entirely optional for searching. You can even load up your cart while logged out and only log in if you want to email it. -- Owen -- Web Developer Athens County Public Libraries http://www.myacpl.org
