Re: [Koha] Using Athens to log in to Koha?
Hi Natalee: I think that Shibboleth authentication has been available in Koha since version 3.18. Martin Renvoize from PTFS-Europe did the majority of the work there I believe, so I'm sure he'd know of some libraries using Shibboleth. http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Shibboleth_Configuration Regarding Athens, I don't think Koha officially supports Athens/OpenAthens authentication. Prosentient Systems has implemented it locally, but I don't think the patches are suitable for upstreaming at this time. It was implemented in a way that might not make sense for other libraries and in conjunction with other local enhancements which also don't necessarily make sense for all Koha users. Since you're in the UK, I suggest getting in touch with Martin at PTFS-Europe. David Cook Systems Librarian Prosentient Systems 72/330 Wattle St, Ultimo, NSW 2007

Hello, Just wondered if there was anyone with Koha who uses Athens/OpenAthens/Shibboleth as the means for library members to log in to their library account please?
With best wishes, Natalee
