When you delete an item from a biblio, the item is correctly deleted from the koha tables but not from the marc-word table which is used for searches. Try this: 1. Select a biblio record with one or more items. 2. Go to edit item. 3. Delete an item. 4. Add the same item (with the same barcode) to another biblio record. You might need to do this, for instance, if the original item were incorrectly put on the wrong edition, say it was entered on the paperback edition but should have been on the hardback edition. 5. Go to the search screen and search by barcode. You get a hit on both biblios. If you look in the marc-word tables you will find the item entries (952 tags) are still there pointing to the original biblio as well as the new one. Questions: Is this a configuration problem? Did I follow the correct procedure for what I am trying to do? Is this a bug that needs to be logged?
