There are some instllation tutorials in the System Administration section of the Kohadocs home page - http://www.kohadocs.org Scroll down on that page until you find the words "System Administration". There you'll find several tutorials, but the most detailed one (in my opinion) is the following (authored by Joshua Ferraro himself): Installing Koha 2.2.7 On Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 "stable" (sarge) http://www.kohadocs.org/Installing_Koha_on_Debian_sarge.html I'm guessing there may be some small differences, if you install the newest Stable Koha (2.2.9, like you mention) on Debian 4.0 (etch). Frankly, I don't use Debian or Debian-derived distributions (like Ubuntu) - at least, not yet - so I can't give you much more advice. I did install Koha 2.2.9 and the Beta of Koha 3.0 on openSUSE 10.3 There are also some other installation tutorials (HOWTOs / guides ...) at the "Koha Developer Wiki" - http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php - that may prove to be useful. I hope this info was helpful. Best wishes, Ricardo Dias Marques lists AT ricmarques DOT net

The installation log for our m/c is at http://www.openhgs.org.uk/it.cgi/koha It was built on FC6, so the first part of page details the o/s installation. The koha part contains a few bits that aren't contained in the docs on the koha page, which is why I'm mentioning it. -- Regards Martin Woolley ICT Support Handsworth Grammar School Isis Astarte Diana Hecate Demeter Kali Inanna ************************************************************* This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. I think that you've created a very good installation log document! :) I suggest that you create a link to it in the installation section of the Koha Developer Wiki homepage - http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php By the way: what's a "m/c"? Best wishes, Ricardo Dias Marques lists AT ricmarques DOT net
