Monday, December 27, 2004 15:10 CST Hi, Ernesto, If you mean the $6 Linkage subfield, the complete information is available at URL <http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/ecbdcntf.html#mrcs6> Depending on the holdings of your library, you might not have any records in which its use would apply (e.g. books in Russian, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, etc., etc.) Hope this info helps. Hi, I'm playing with the marc subfields editor and I have one doubt, how does the "link" field work? I've used it and after running a bulkmarcimport I'm having some strange results.
The help page sais: "link: useless for instance", but, what was it for?
Thanks Ernesto _______________________________________________ Koha mailing list Koha@lists.katipo.co.nz http://lists.katipo.co.nz/mailman/listinfo/koha

Hi Ernesto, Steven is right here : the link field will be used for the linkage feature. In 2.2.0RC5, it "unsupported". I've added a very small support for this during my holidays. I'll commit & add some doc for 2.2.0 official, that should be off in a few hours. -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)
