Re: [Koha] help! - Enable place hold in the opac.
JR Because of the version you're using, I think maybe this is a new preference that came in later after your version - or it's a bug - I'm including the entire list in this reply so others can help you. On Thu, Feb 11, 2010 at 10:24 AM, JR RJ <rosariojrrj@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi Nicole, thank you for your answer, but that's not the problem. The setting you told me was already ON.In the OPAC displays i have only Place on reserve and not Place hold.
I noticed something strange in system preferences, i have not the setting AllowHoldPolicyOverride. Why?

JR,
There are a few possible reasons you're not seeing the Hold button. If the items you're looking at are from another branch you may need to make sure you have : canreservefromotherbranches set to ON. If that's not it, there may be other reasons that others can suggest.

Hello, I am a college student who has just joined the mail-list. I give my apologies in advance for my English, I am an Italian student. I'm learning to use Koha reading the manual and found myself in a big problem in the OPAC. I do not understand why I can not activate in the OPAC the place hold especially in my cart. How i can enable this feature?I added a few books in the catalog and some users, I use Koha 3.0.4.
I need your help.
