Hello, Do any other library systems or consortia or multibranch systems have an interest in differentiating the ability to place holds on specific items in order to reserve certain materials for local library use. We are looking at sponsorship through Liblime of a holds policy enhancement to allow holds requests to be treated in one of three ways in a multiple library environment: 1. Items that cannot be held at all. These items may still circulate, but patrons must come to the library to borrow them. 2. Items that can be placed on hold by patrons who belong to the item’s library. The patron’s home branch and the item’s branch must agree, or else the patron will not be able to place a hold. 3. Items that can be placed on hold by any patron, regardless of whether the patron and the item are attached to the same branch. (Most items will fall in this category.) Just wondering if other Koha users have any interest in this...
