Dear all, I have installed koha 3.02.05.000 on Ubuntu 10.04 and uploaded MARC file of around 26800 record of books. i have pasted barcode on books and the barcode label is prepared like 00001,00002,00003...to 09999 and at the same time my bibliographic record in koha having barcode like 1,2,3...9999...26800.The problem is that when scanning a book which comes under 10000 (i.e number starts with the digit zero at the beginning), it displays that the barcode doesnt exist. Is there any way to solve the problem other than editing each record (from 00001 to 0999)one by one manually. expecting a reply with regards manojkumar Librarian ▌││ │▌▌▌▌ ││▌ manoj@nasc 9895266543 ▌││ │▌▌▌▌ ││▌

It seems that it wouldn't be too hard to make a perl script that goes through each one and pads it out with leading zeros. I can't see a MySQL function to do this, or it'd be easier still. -- Robin Sheat Catalyst IT Ltd. ✆ +64 4 803 2204 GPG: 5957 6D23 8B16 EFAB FEF8 7175 14D3 6485 A99C EB6D
