Hi, You don't say what operating system you would be using on the PC. If you use Debian, the setup is pretty easy and the step-by-step instructions are at: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Debian As for hosting, I think you would need to pay for your own virtual host to which you have root access. You can install at Atlantic.net by using their VPS services. Also, you can use the koha live cd to run locally. Sent from my iPhone

Morning, I followed the instructions here: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Debian Using wget and apt worked perfectly every time. I also advocate making copious notes as you work through the process. I remember it taking me a long time to comfortable with the location of all the various config files, etc. But, I think the latest verision of Koha is much easier to install and get up and running.
