hi community koha 3.4.1 is installed on server of ubuntu linux lts at server room of my organization and we access it from our windows clients. i want to print automatic issuance and return slip at every chek in and check out transaction. similarly i have put one computer for self check out and i want to print an automatic receipt. i have an hp network printer installed on both computers. how i can do this? note i m new to linux and work on windows environment -- Regards Abdul Vali Librarian - ASE School

As Koha is a web application which is accesed through a web browser, the printer setup is windows client stuff. You need to have the printer configured and usable in each workstation and the rest is a Firefox/Chrome printing configuration problem.
note i m new to linux and work on windows environment

It is issue of web browser in which koha application is running on windows client. So how i can configure my firefox browser on Windows vista to print automatic slips? Koha will trigger the printing dialog for you. What you need is a way to bypass that dialog. This can be acheived (in Firefox) going to about:config (in the address bar) and adding a new boolean preference named 'print.always_print_silent' (without quotes) and set it to true. Regards To+
