Tēnā koutou It is with great sadness that I pass on to you all the news that Rosalie Blake has passed away. Rosalie was the Head Librarian at Horowhenua Library Trust when Koha was started and without her Koha would not exist. But more than this Rosalie was an amazing person, a librarian who always thought outside the box, a gifted potter, a friend to many and a beloved mother and grandmother. Details around the funeral and memorial note should be available tomorrow. But I am sure you will all join me holding Rosalie's family and friends in your thoughts. Tiwhatiwha te pō, tiwhatiwha te ao. Chris
I will light a candle and raise a glass to Rosalie's memory, and keep her family and all who knew her in my heart today. May memories of her bring comfort, h2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ms. Heather Hernandez (she, her, hers) Technical Services Librarian Library catalog: https://keys.bywatersolutions.com/<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fkeys.bywatersolutions.com%2F&data=05%7C01%7CHeather_Hernandez%40nps.gov%7C950a4b896c6840abbf2708da5a0692c2%7C0693b5ba4b184d7b9341f32f400a5494%7C0%7C0%7C637921281518907037%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=KDx6voZToIrZN2QYqe18e9S16%2B44bJ99OzKqi608gvQ%3D&reserved=0> San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park Research Center 2 Marina Blvd., Bldg. Dear Community, The gardener of godzone will be sorely missed. It was tough keeping up with her at any age. She was a national treasure, and richly deserved the international name she made for herself. Never would she have crowed about it on her own, of course. https://digitalnz.org/records/30554095 If one of the family is reading this, please contact me offlist. In sympathy, Brooke
