For what it's worth, I've used gofundme in the past and never had reason to think that money I contributed went to anybody other than the intended recipient. Greetings, I too was unfamiliar with it until recently. However, since I know that Ruth Bavousett, a former Translation Manager here in Koha (as well as other things I'm sure) did successfully raise the funds with it for a campaign of hers, I do not see a problem dealing with it.
